What is UPS?

UPS stands for Uninterruptible Power Supply, and it refers to a device that plays a crucial role in protecting computers and sensitive electronic devices. A UPS acts as a backup and essential device for electronic consumers, produced in various capacities and functionalities, and utilized in different administrative, service, and industrial sectors. A UPS system is placed in the electrical path of devices and enhances the quality of incoming electricity in such a way that the power supplied to the mentioned devices is free from any noise and fluctuations. To achieve this goal, the UPS performs two main functions: 1. Enhancing the quality of incoming electricity by eliminating noise and disturbances in the network and reducing its fluctuations. 2. Creating a backup system (Back-UP) during a blackout. A key expectation from a UPS device is to provide an uninterrupted power supply to meet the load's demands. This system is placed between the city's electricity and the consumer device, stabilizing and regulating the network's electricity, preventing noise and network disturbances from affecting sensitive consumer equipment. The UPS device serves as an uninterrupted power source, supplying the necessary electricity to consumer equipment using energy stored in batteries.
